JUDICIARY ENTERS THE DATA AGE: NATIONAL JUDICIAL ANALYTICS DASHBOARD LAUNCHED

Islamabad, February 10, 2026 — Marking a historic milestone in Pakistan’s judicial reform journey, the National Judicial Analytics Dashboard was formally launched today, realizing a long-standing institutional vision of the National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee (NJPMC).

The landmark initiative has been developed by the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan, with technical assistance from the National Information Technology Board (NITB), in close collaboration with the IT Directorates of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Federal Shariat Court, and the High Courts across the country. The Dashboard represents a transformative shift towards evidence-based judicial policymaking, enhanced institutional transparency, and performance-driven governance within Pakistan’s justice system.

The launch ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan, alongside Hon’ble Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Chairman of the National Judicial Automation Committee, Hon’ble Judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Hon’ble Judges of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan, Chief Justices of the High Courts, Registrars of the High Court, Representatives of the Pakistan Bar Council, Secretary, Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom, Chief Executive Officer of the National IT Board, members of the, and senior judicial and technical officials.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and Chairman, NJAC, delivered the introductory remarks, outlining the evolutionary journey of the project and highlighting the salient features of the Dashboard. He underscored that the platform consolidates judicial data into an integrated, real-time analytics framework, enabling informed decision-making, strategic planning, and strengthened institutional accountability.

The Secretary, Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom, in his reflections, emphasized the significance of cross-institutional collaboration and reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to leveraging technology for strengthening governance and public sector institutions, including the justice sector.

The National Judicial Analytics Dashboard was formally unveiled by the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan, in the presence of the Chairman, NJAC, and the Secretary, Ministry of IT & Telecommunication. The launch was accompanied by a live demonstration of the Dashboard, showcasing its analytical capabilities, real-time monitoring functions, and visual data architecture.

Addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan described the Dashboard as a pivotal governance instrument that would enhance transparency, predictability, and performance monitoring across the judicial system. He appreciated the collective efforts of the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan, the National IT Board, and the judicial IT teams for translating a long-standing reform vision into an operational and sustainable reality.

As a gesture of recognition, souvenirs were presented to members of the National Judicial Automation Committee and the core development and design teams in appreciation of their contributions.

The launch of the National Judicial Analytics Dashboard marks a decisive shift towards data-driven justice-sector governance, reinforcing the judiciary’s commitment to modernization, institutional coherence, informed judicial policymaking, and responsive, citizen-centric justice delivery.
