Achievements - ADR Committee

Punjab.

The Law Department, Government of Punjab has issued a notification to enforce “the Punjab ADR Act, 2019" to the extent of Lahore district.
“ADR implementation & Liaison Center” has been established in the Lahore High Court headed by the Director General, Directorate of District Judiciary to monitor the activities of implementation of Alternate Dispute Resolution and collection of ADR cases.

Sindh.

Three court annexed mediation centers have been notified by the High Court of Sindh at Malir-Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur.
Two organizations i.e. Legal Aid Society and Institute of Business Administration have been notified as accredited mediation centers by the High Court of Sindh.
Sindh Judicial Academy has conducted 40 hours training session on ADR for judges of Karachi and lawyers on 25-29 January 2023.
Sindh Judicial Academy has conducted 10 online training programs for the judges working at district level.
The Law Department, Government of Sindh has conducted an ADR awareness campaign through auto rickshaws.
The Law Department, Government of Sindh has established Sindh Legal Advisory Call Centre to facilitate and aware the general public about ADR mechanisms.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has notified Saliseen selection Committee.
Saliseen have been notified in twenty (20) districts by the Saliseen Selection Committee.

Balochistan

Islamabad

A three-member Committee comprising Hon’ble Judges of the High Court has been constituted to develop Centers Accreditation Rules and Mediation Accreditation (Eligibility) Rules, 2023.
The Ministry of Law and Justice has notified the ADR center.
The Ministry of Law and Justice has notified the Panel of Neutrals for ICT.
Federal Judicial Academy has conducted one day workshop (orientation session on ADR) for judges on 14 January 2023.
